Geoff is a highly qualified and seasoned lawyer, bringing over 40 years of experience in advising businesses of all sizes, from sole proprietors to multinational corporations, on corporate and structural matters.
He was a principal solicitor for the NSW Corporate Affairs Commission, where he oversaw the regulation of public fundraising, including the Stock Exchange, Futures Exchange, and unlisted raisings such as managed investment schemes. Additionally, he engaged in white-collar prosecution work and participated in several high-profile special investigations. Notably, he collaborated with another senior lawyer at the Commission to draft the first Futures Markets Act (NSW).
Geoff founded and managed one of the first multimedia companies in a joint venture with the Seven Network, which gained significant exposure on national television. As Managing Director, he successfully transformed a struggling national service company into a profitable entity, ultimately selling it to a listed public company .
Recently, Geoff completed a role as a director and Chairman of the Board Risk Management Committee for one of the largest not-for-profit aged care organisations in the country. He has served as a non-executive director for companies engaged in diverse sectors, including coffee plantations, satellite technology, merchant banking, ski resorts, nutraceuticals, and construction.
